massively invite users to join / to be included into a channel

Currently it is NOT POSSIBLE to invite users to a channel based in their e-mails.

 

As we are an ALE BP with tens of customers that demand for easy members inclusion, I want to share with you some ideas to raise up the channels feature:

• From a bubble list of members, create a channel. It could be done from within the bubble, calling the 'create channel' wizard, or exporting the list of users and importing this list in the Channels wizard;
• From a list of users, based in their name+surname or login e-mail, create a channel. Of course if restricted into the own company, users out of the company won't be invited - and will return error.

 

What I received as feedback of customers is that, when they want to invite many users at once, they cannot do that.
They are obliged to invite one by one. 

Another way, additional to the above, is make use of one of the 'contact list' that the user can create to organize its contacts, to be invited to a channel.

  I certainly agree with this request! as I am managing a few channels, I find it time consuming to invite my Rainbow contacts to a Channel one at a time. I am looking forward to Channels enhancements now that it has been launched.

  good news!

   

  Starting from the very next release 1.61, while creating a channel, you'll be able to invite members in bulk thanks to a list of email addresses separated with a comma or semi-column.
