Connect IP SIP doorphone to Rainbow

Dear rainbow community,

I was wondering if anybody has tried to interface a third party SIP device to rainbow, either via WebRTC or through an OXO connected to rainbow? We are looking into deploying 2N or Commend IP doorphones. To get SIP voice functionality to a rainbow client is quite simple, using the OXO as gateway, but to get video working seems not that easy. Any experience out there?

  Hi,

  we are also disappointed that an state of the art collaboration tool has no ability to integrate a video doorphone seamlessly in Rainbow. We have customers asking that from time to time.

  PS: The PBX is an OXE.

  You will need to connect it by using CPaaS integration.

  Direct connection as device will not work, because Rainbow is based on a webRTC architecture, but doorphones works on SIP protocol.
