Video display
Currently maximum video display is 4 plus the organiser. When will this increase? I believe Zoom can display 40 plus, Teams will now be 12. With the Rainbow rooms and large screen display then a greater number would be much appreciated. ALE what is the plan and timing?

Hi Olivier, there isnt a 'Battlecard for Teams yet. From my perspective if the customer's main objective is the sharing and integration of all of the Microsoft Apps, then Teams may be the solution for them. Of course we can still integrated the ALE Telephony with Teams via Rainbow and can save the customer a significant amount on carriage costs.
If the customer's main priority is enterprise grade telephony with mobility - then Rainbow will be the better solution for them.
We are still working on the competitive comparisons here in Australia.
Mike, who started this post has actually done some detailed price comparisons between Rainbow and Team and has found Rainbow to be a far less expensive solution.
Cheers

Olivier, I tend to agree with Brian. In my view we should welcome Microsoft 365 and Teams but attack that niche where Microsoft cannot provide a simple, high quality and cost effective PBX solution. Rainbow has many advantages here and should allow a significant potential market, especially if the connectors to Avaya, Mitel, Cisco, etc. truly work. Here I am not sure yet as the lock-down has played havoc with some of our ongoing evaluations and tests.
Regards and stay safe,
Mike
