    Enrique & Tom,

Your request makes sense in enterprise environment to avoid having a specific password for the Rainbow app. To have a better understanding of the need, I need some additional inputs

    • Which kind of SSO are you looking for (SAML, AD Azure...) ? More technical detail is welcome.
    • What is the perimeter of the SSO ? Just to have a unique password or also the synchronize the users directory (account automatically created and/or delete on Rainbow side). And in the lastest case, what about the level of service (Essential vs Enterprise)

Thanks for adding some clarifications to your request.

When will the SSO be available? Not having the single sign on is the reason many users struggle to login into rainbow.

    Dear Enrique,

SSO job will start in Q4 this year. The goal is to integrate Rainbow with existing SAML 2.0 identity providers, and we will start with Microsoft Azure Active Directory.

    Kind regards,

    Christophe Muninger

    Hello,

It is supported since Rainbow 1.65:

    • Supports of SSO (Single Sign On) with on-premises Microsoft Active Directory thanks to the Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) role, using either SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect authentication method

    Regards,

    Claire Dechristé
