    Hello Viktor,

you can check on the app page if the Rainbow Calendar app is visible.

    https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/r#/applications

To find your contacts you may need to activate Outlook Extensions and restart Outlook.

    Hi Andreas,

    Thanks for your reply.

Indeed, both Rainbow Calendar and Rainbow Directory are activated, so the connection does seem established. Which, in my opinion, means the UI in Rainbow could use some improvement to make this more clear from that end, too.

So the question becomes another one. Yes, I can search for my personal Outlook contacts with the extension installed but that's not what I'm looking for, I wish to directly access both my users from Azure AD and the Global Address List (GAL), i.e. the central contacts store in Exchange Online.

According to the release notes for Rainbow 1.65, searching for GAL contacts should be possible since January this year.

This doesn't work for me, though, I cannot access my GAL contacts from Rainbow.

    Best regards,
    Viktor

    Hello Victor,

the screenshot in your initial post show that you authorized your Rainbow user account to access O365 Calendar feature.

For searching users your Rainbow company admin must activate Azure Directory search with an O365 admin account.

    Hi Andreas,

Is the Screenshot behind the link really accurate? If yes, then I can confirm that I don't have that button under my company section. Although I am the admin (and currently sole user) for my Rainbow tenant. The account was set up by my VAD, though. Anything they need to do from their side?

This looks like we're getting somewhere, thanks for your help.

    Best regards,
    Viktor

    Hi Andreas,

OK, then that's what I already have and referred to all the while. As mentioned, the two apps Rainbow Calendar and Rainbow Directory are indeed activated in my O365 tenant. Should there be something else on top?

    Best regards,
    Viktor

    Hi Viktor,

so far I know it should be all. You may save the logs and open a ticket via your VAD.
