Rainbow SSO failed - "SAML Assertion signature check failed!  - Solved

Hallo Rainbow community,

we want to configure the Azure AD as authentication point with SSO enabled. We have got created an enterprise application and also uploaded the metadata.xml from Rainbow application. We have got enterprise license.

On login with SSO we got this Error message .

Any ideas to solve this issue?

  Hello Philipp and community,
  yesterday when implementing this on a customer site I have seen the same behaviour too.
  We walked through all the steps to take according to the information on the openrainbow site but with no result.
  So ifi you get any update on this I would appreciate it if you would share it.

  we fixed this issue by downloading the Base64 of the AzureAD enterprise application and opened this on linux based system - copied the content back to Rainbow app - downloaded the Metadata file - Imported it to the AzureAD enterprise appl and the SSO at Rainbow was working fine - strange but it is working right now.

  Thats great, one year after this Problem

  - the Documentation of Rainbow is not correctet

  - from Rainbow, there was now Answer here, how to fix the Problem in a normal Way
