Hi,

Do you have a updated version on IoS SDK Beta 1.0.6 available? Has the Background mode already been implemented?

  Hi Dirk,

  A version 1.0.9 is already uploaded to the server (https://maven.openrainbow.io/com/ale/ios/sdk/ /!\ this url may change in next weeks).
  The HUB will be soon updated with an iOS part il the documentation.

  I'll check with iOS team for your question.

  Talking about Background Mode do you mean receiving Push Notification ?

  Yes indeed, Vladimir: the capability to send/receive msgs while the app is in background (or even when phone screen is off). I would need this to work with LBS (Polestar SDK) to send a Rainbow msg when the phone detects a beacon. In this case the App would be woken-up to act on the detected beacon. Is this already supported?

  As I understand it, the beacon notification would woke up the application and you could reconnect to Rainbow if needed in the app delegate at that time.

  However, the SDK will not receive Rainbow's push notification while in background as this is not yet available for third parties.
