Hide foreign files
I currently have a case where an employee within Rainbow wants to delete all of his files (or at least those displayed there) using the ‘Free up storage space’ function. However, he can ‘only’ delete the files that are taking up storage space for HIM.
He cannot delete files that he has received from other colleagues in a chat (as these do not take up any storage space for him). Although it is understandable (for me as an IT specialist that this would interfere with the sender's rights), it is also understandable that the recipient no longer wants to see these files in his view.
Is there a way for the recipient to remove these files from view without deleting them from the sender's view? He has successfully deleted the chats in which the files were sent, so the files are no longer visible there, but they are still displayed in the Files view!
In my opinion, simply ‘hiding’ the files in question would be sufficient.

Hi Alexander,
If I understand correctly, the user simply wants to view their own files—either those they’ve shared in messages or stored in Rainbow. This is already possible: in the Files view, selecting the My Files filter will display only the user’s files.

Baptiste
