Every time a new version of the Rainbow Desktop App is available, every user gets an "update availlable" popup several times a day. How can I disable these popups?

  Hello Michael,

  This is not possible today as We do not advise users to run their client apps in front of a server that does not have the same version.

  Have you any suggestions, how to use/deploy Rainbow in Companies with more than 100 Users?

  Our Users have no admin rights, so they can't do the update. And there is no autoupdate Feature available, isn't it?

  The Feature suggestion here is more than one year old: https://support.openrainbow.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000083650-Automatic-Update-of-the-software

  So our users will get every hour an update popup until the software is updated. That's annoying.

  Hello,

  We will soon release a way to disable the auto update mechanism. This will be offered through an additional option in all MSI files, offline & online, per-user and per-machine. It is planned for mid-october.

  However, we do not advise to run client apps with version less than N-1 in front of Rainbow server in version N.
